Notes from the rebuild

There is a particular relief in deleting almost everything.

Not because the old things were bad, but because a blank page makes the important questions visible again. What should remain when the decoration is gone? What deserves attention? What should move—and what should stay perfectly still?

A small set of rules

This version of the site began with three constraints:

• let typography do most of the work;
• make interaction feel discovered, not announced;
• keep publishing simple enough that it actually happens.

The result is intentionally small. Posts are plain Markdown files. Projects will be, too. The homepage holds one thought instead of a sales pitch.

That feels like enough to begin.
